Without a shadow of a doubt the absolute worst single I ever bought was "Shaddap you face" by Joe Dolce. Just thinking about it makes me shudder!! In my defence I was only about 11 years old Steed

Zig and Zag can't remember the name of the record but I bought it to annoy my girlfriend with Joe Dolce is not the worst novelty record ever made but its not great either. I can remember people debating how crap it was at the time but every kid I knew would be saying Shaddup you face.

All the "Hey's!" etc. I thought it funny that it stopped Ultravox getting to No.1 I thought Ultravox were always a No.2 type band with a No.2 type sound. Even Ure was No.2 to Geldof when it's Live Aid.

Is it wrong that I like all of these? I agree with you Windy, I was never a fan of Vienna. The record I'm most embarrassed about having is also the first record I bought and that's "Ebony & Ivory". Before you start, the second one I bought was Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band so hopefully somewhere in the music universe one cancelled the other out

Its no where near as bad as some of the comedy records released over the years Steve, it could have been far worse. Sgt Pepper redeemed you IMO
