Network are going to present the restored film and the two episodes on Tuesday 12th March at Prince Charles Cinema near Leicester Square. It's followed by a Q&A with Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. Price £25.
I was tempted to make the long journey from the North West but I can't justify the cost of the travel and hotel.
Or maybe I can.
Decisions, decisions.

I thoroughly enjoyed the My Generation launch event at the BFI in March last year. After the film followed a Q&A with Michael Caine. It's a very enjoyable format and makes for a good evening. Clement and La frenais were involved in the My Generation project and it was a good production so I'm glad they are back this year with updates to their own back catalogue followed by a Q&A with the legendary team.
I'll be attending.

I like the sound of this, it’d be great to see it on the big screen like it was in 1976, is anyone north of London going?

Del gave me the heads up on this, so I've purchased a ticket too. Looking forward to this. Be nice to see/hear Clement and La Frenais in person too.

Hope you can make it Steve. Anyone else coming down? It's 25 quid a ticket and the cinema is in Leicester Square.

Sadly I can't make it as it's mid week. I'd never get there in time after graft.
Hope you lads have a good evening.
Gene.

Sorry you can't make it Gene. It's a shame this one isn't linked up to other cinemas around the country as so many will have the same issue as yourself.

Very gutted you can't make it Gene knowing how much of a fan of Clement/Le Frenais's work you are mate and especially with all the big work you did on the LL's/AWP meets these last few years - and very good they've been too.
Hopefully we can represent 4:3 well at this.
