I noted the car park sign when I was parked on the car park a few months back while doing my pre meet run through. To make doubly sure, I have fired off a message to Hertsmere Council to confirm details. Gene. We are good to go! Gene.

A slight update to the Saturday Squad. Stan will also now be joining us. PLEASE DISREGARD ALL PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS TO AVOID CONFUSION.So as of Tuesday April 9th, this is what we have: Passengers on the Saturday can travel in the same car to the Meet up car park point on the Sunday morning. The Saint has very kindly offered in advance to take myself, Del & Dirty Epic in his car on Saturday. He has also offered to take myself, Del & Sam Tyler on the Sunday. We have more than enough cars attending so it is likely that the reserve drivers may not have to drive. ALL PASSENGERS: - It's your own responsibility to arrange with drivers on the day if you want to be in their car.
TO AVOID ANY DELAYS, I ADVISE YOU DO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHEN WE GET TOGETHER AT 9am ON THE CAR PARK IN BOREHAMWOOD, OR EARLIER AT 8am WHEN WE WILL BE HAVING BREAKFAST NEARBY PRIOR TO MEETING UP. As passengers on either or both days, please remember to do the right thing by your driver on the day and offer something towards the cost of fuel. This ensures there is no unpleasantness afterwards and also ensures that these drivers will be happy to volunteer again at future events. I would recommend the minimum of £5 per person given the distance covered.Any questions? Ask away. Gene.

A reminder: SATURDAY MEMBERS.EVERYONE PLEASE BE IN THE PREMIER INN SOUTH MIMMS HOTEL FOYER FOR NO LATER THAN 12.45PM.
WE WILL HEAD OFF AT EXACTLY 1PM IN THE CARS FOR THE SATURDAY TOUR. I anticipate that the round trip will cover around 20 miles in total, taking in a few short pub breaks along the way that are location themed and also some prime locations nearby. We should get back to The Premier Inn South Mimms around 5pm. That gives us ample chance to recharge and freshen up ready for a walk early evening when we can get a bite to eat and a few drinks. There are a few pubs within walking distance so we shouldn't need to drive on the evening. SUNDAY MEMBERS.THOSE JOINING US FOR BREAKFAST - Please be on the Civic Offices Car Park on Elstree Way WD6 1JT for NO LATER THAN 7.45am. PARKING IS FREE ALL DAY. From there you need to make the short walk (7 or 8 minutes) to The Hart & Spool (Wetherspoons) for 8am. We will have breakfast and head back to the car park for 9am. THOSE NOT JOINING US FOR BREAKFAST - REMEMBER you will need to arrive at Civic Offices Car Park on Elstree Way WD6 1JT for 9am to 9.30am - NO LATER. PARKING IS FREE. THE MEET WILL COMMENCE AT 10am SHARP. WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT FOR LATECOMERS.
ALL PASSENGERS: - It's your own responsibility to arrange with drivers on the day if you want to be in their car.

Have a great time all.
And remember the weekend ruleset of applying a double-entendre at any given opportunity, to the extent it almost becomes tedious but still always manages to provide a ridiculous uplift to any circumstance and for the meet participants to likewise say ‘pwoar!’ when anyone remotely attractive is within 500 metres, or maybe 500 yards as the whole weekend will be conducted in the year of our Lord, 1972.
What could possibly go wrong?
