So as it stands, this is what we have: Passengers on the Saturday can travel in the same car to the Meet up car park point on the Sunday morning. The Saint has very kindly offered in advance to take myself, Del & Dirty Epic in his car on Saturday. He has also offered to take myself, Del & Sam Tyler on the Sunday. We have more than enough cars attending so it is likely that the reserve drivers may not have to drive. ALL PASSENGERS: - It's your own responsibility to arrange with drivers on the day if you want to be in their car.
TO AVOID ANY DELAYS, I ADVISE YOU DO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHEN WE GET TOGETHER AT 9am ON THE CAR PARK IN BOREHAMWOOD, OR EARLIER AT 8am WHEN WE WILL BE HAVING BREAKFAST NEARBY PRIOR TO MEETING UP. As passengers on either or both days, please remember to do the right thing by your driver on the day and offer something towards the cost of fuel. This ensures there is no unpleasantness afterwards and also ensures that these drivers will be happy to volunteer again at future events. I would recommend the minimum of £5 per person given the distance covered.Any questions? Ask away. Gene.

Could I just ask everyone to refer to the LATEST post on this thread by myself for details of the itinerary and plans for both Saturday & Sunday. There has been a degree of confusion with people reading earlier announcements that have been since updated.

Hello Derek Fish here, This weekend the weather picture for Borehamwood is one of cloud with a moderate breeze. There is up to a 10% chance of precipitation on both days. Temperatures will start at 5 degrees early morning climbing to highs of 11. Don't worry there wont be a hurricane for the meet. Enjoy it and see you all for more weather in September.

Once we're back at the 'finishing point' at 5.30pm I'll go home from there, just as a heads up to the squad members who will be travelling in my motor . Villain Thanks for the update Villain Our finale is in Manor Way, Borehamwood which is just 2 minutes from the car park where we all start from. It is also just 10 minutes from the hotel. Depending on who you have in you car on the day, will you be able to run them back to either the car park if their car is there or the hotel if needs be? Yes Gene that'll be no problem running anyone back to the hotel or car park This time next week... Villain

I'm just going to start watching these two (maybe three) comedy classics on Rupert's colour TV, especially with the meet just a few days away now Vi

... I BELIEVE PARKING IS FREE ALL DAY ON SUNDAYS... It certainly is Gene, see below taken from Google streetview dated March 2018: Councils have a habit of changing their minds so best be prepared with plenty of change just in case. The Saint has very kindly offered in advance to take myself, Del & Dirty Epic in his car on Saturday. He has also offered to take myself, Del & Sam Tyler on the Sunday. Big thanks to The Saint for offering to take us. Sam.

I noted the car park sign when I was parked on the car park a few months back while doing my pre meet run through. To make doubly sure, I have fired off a message to Hertsmere Council to confirm details.
