Blimey! I hadn't realised that it is now over three years since anyone had posted anything on this thread. Yesterday, during a Pick of the Pops chart from December 1981, Duran Duran's fourth single "My Own Way" was played. I have always liked the faster single version but you rarely here it played on the radio, so it was good to hear it again. Apparently, it has never been very popular with the band and is not often played live. The song doesn't seem to feature on their compilation singles albums either. Vi

Yesterday, during a Pick of the Pops chart from December 1981, Duran Duran's fourth single "My Own Way" was played. I have always liked the faster single version but you rarely here it played on the radio, so it was good to hear it again. Similar thing with their debut Planet Earth which I think is one of their best. Radio these days always goes for the safest option, so it always Hungry Like The Wolf, as if it's the only thing they ever released.
