I read that High Society featured members of The Strawbs, I wonder if their most famous & slightly controversial song gets much radio airplay these days?

Here's a few I can think of that don't really get radio play anymore.

Another great track that doesn't get played nearly as often as it should is "Streetlife" by Roxy Music. I like most Roxy Music tracks but Streetlife is my favourite, closely followed by "Virginia Plain"

I was watching the Now 80's channel on the goggle box last night and although it was Simon Bates I quite enjoyed the "Golden Hour" from 1984. There were a couple of tunes that cropped up that were played, almost over-hyped, at the time which I never seem to hear these days:

I can't remember hearing this classic UB40 single from 1980 on the radio in recent years... in the days before they went downhill later in the decade Vi

Driving along the M6 through the West Midlands today I suddenly heard this great tune from 1988 being played on the radio... I haven't heard it for many years Vi

Always thought the one below was a belter for the 90's after hearing it a girls 18th party I was at in '91
Just remembered this the other day:
They were around quite a bit for a while - not sure I've heard this for a while - and the 80's Summer holidays vibe pre-dated Wham a bit I thought:
Elvis Costello anyone?:

Not sure how this will be received but anything by Showaddywaddy. Never get any airtime these days but they had 15 top 20 singles between 1974 & 1979 so no flash in the pan.
