One band that had a massive hit ( 'Take Me Out' ) & were flavour of the month for a while then seemed to disappear are Franz Ferdinand.
Some bands just don't deserve to disappear, who could forget this classic?

Lemmy rightly described The Darkness as a 'novelty act' & the singer went off the rails, he also had a problem with hair loss which is never a good thing for a heavy rock frontman with long hair.

Texas. I thought they were excellent, they did a great album called White on Blonde in the late 90s, three fantastic singles came from it, When we are together, She has a halo and Black eyed boy.

Whatever happened to the band Jesus Jones? They had some good hits in the 90's such as Right Here Right Now, Real Real Real, and International Bright Young Thing (which was on the radio the other day and jogged my memory)

Another band who don't seem to get much airplay or get mentioned very often these days is Liverpool band The Farm. I remember buying their album Spartacus on vinyl and the single Groovy Train on 7" vinyl. Steed
