The Professionals Event - 23 September 2018

Just a heads up on an event coming up for Professionals fans on the forum which I'm sure many are!

An event is being held on September 23rd at the Cinema museum London SE11 4TH - never been there myself but some may know it.

It will be a presentation and Q and A session with a number of guest stars who appeared in different episodes. And also a sort 40th anniversary of while filming was undergoing on the 2nd series during 1978. More info on the link.

I wouldn't mind going as I missed the last one, last November. Tickets are available for prior purchase or on the door apparently.

Would be nice if a few 43tv'ers could go for a meet up! Apologies Admin if this should be in the Retro Events section although thought this would be appropriate on this thread too. :-)

Possibly, but last time I spoke to John Lyons, who is a close friend with Brian, I was told Brian didn't get about for these events much these days. He's 85 now.

I remember seeing Brian about five years ago at one of those memorabilia and autographed photo events at Westminster Hall or some similar named place ? He was munching on a sarnie at the start of the event alongside his wife at a table.

I suppose he would be in his eighties now.

Yes good shout Gerald. This event is at the same venue that I saw Peter Vaughan last year.
It's a shame but I can't make his one.
