Dynamite cop show starring the late Karl Malden and Michael Douglas before he became famous. Two great actors, compelling storylines and lots of action. I now have every single episode on DVD.

I never really watched this one. It hasn't been repeated over here for a while now. If I see it it might give it a try. I believe it was first shown in the early seventies and did very well. Malden and Michael Douglas were both good actors.
One American TV detective show I have been watching lately is a show called 'Barbnaby Jones' it's about a detective in his early sixties, who comes put of retirement after the murder of his son.
I gave it a try and was surprised to find it fairly entertaining and not very demanding. ( Columbo is ok but there's a bit too much talking in it for me.) I've watched six or seven episodes from series 1 up to now.
The complete eight series are on YouTube in very good quality.
I'm surprised at how many TV shows I enjoy now that I wouldn't have bothered with years ago ?

Karl Malden was a great actor who was 97 when he died in 2009. Vi |
