UPDATE:On the Saturday before the Meet, both myself and John Steed will be arriving at Euston at around 12.30. We are heading over to The Warrington (The Sweeney "Night Out") at about 1pm for a couple of pints before heading in to the Hammersmith(ish) area from mid afternoon onwards sampling some of the fine ales in various establishments - all for research purposes of course, so if anyone wants to join us, let us know on this thread or get in touch on the Saturday and I'll let you know whereabouts we are. We will be making an afternoon and evening of it so you can join us at any time you wish.
I think everyone attending has my mobile number but in case you haven't, drop me a PM and I'll send it.
Gene Genie.
Gene, I'll be down in London later than originally planned as I'm going to see former Hammer films actress Madeline Smith in Birmingham during the day. I should be in Hammersmith about 6.30pm Vi

Once back in Hammersmith, we will walk to a yet to be decided pub nearby for a meal and a few drinks (Possibly The Brook Green Hotel or similar). People are free to do as they wish from this point onwards. Right. That's about it. A mammoth 31 locations all within walking distance in a marvellous part of London that was used so much for filming back in the golden era. Some of the scenes have changed beyond recognition, some are still the same today. I'll be happy to point out "exact spots" during the tour. It'll really give you a great insight to how some of this area changed around the time of filming or just after.
Any questions about any aspect of the itinerary then please feel free to ask.
Here is a small sample of what we'll be seeing (Click to enlarge) Gene.
