Bill Paterson aka Ally Fraser is in the new Dad's Army film which I watched yesterday. I didn't reckon much to the film but there were a lot of well known faces in it. Steed Yeah noticed Bill was in it when it came out a while back John... can't say I'm interested in seeing it if I'm being honest.
Now something like Comfort and Joy or The Crow Road...

Watching 'To The Devil A Daughter' last week I noticed Irene Prador who plays Helmut's mother. Looking at her imdb page I now remember that she had a regular part in the sitcom 'Dear John', she's the Polish woman who says 'you crazy man' in broken English whenever she sees Ralph Bates. Her bio mentions that she was also a singer & her sister was actress Lilli Palmer who was a big name & married Rex Harrison.

Again another face from Series 3 of Auf Pet but noticed Glasgow actor John Kazek in a Taggart episode on Drama recently playing a dodgy bookie. Think he's also played another part in a later Taggart epidode too. He was gang boss Yorgo in Auf Pet but is best known as pub landlord Norrie in Rab C Nesbitt.

Came across Su Elliot ‘Majorie’ in a few bit parts recently. She was Ron Blythe’s bird in one of The Paradise Club episodes I watched recently and played a social worker type in one of ITV’s Tales Out of School episodes R.H.I.N.O too.

Watching the 1972 film 'ZPG' ( Zero Population Growth ) I saw Aubrey Woods, the purveyor of adult videos in 'Last Rites'. As the subtitle shows he was recommending blue movies even then! Bomber & Haskins wife Sheila Reid also turns up in the film.

And of course Pat Roach plays a foreign "Bond baddie" henchman in 1983's Connery comeback "Never say never again" who after knocking out cleaner Derek Deadman (Sweeney ep actor) tries to attack Bond in the exercise gymn but gets acidy urine thrown in his face to thwart him! When watched it on telly, my brother mentioned, "ah look its Bomber"!

Anthony Dutton was a regular on 'Thirty Minutes Worth', Harry Worth's sketch show from 1972/73. Man being fitted for suit, copper, salesman, camp waiter, menacing pork eating Northerner ( see tv ads you remember thread ), he could play em all without a hair out of place. I've noticed he keeps his mouth open a lot.
