Tim with long 70s hair is very strange Sure is Del. He could pass for a Sweeney villain with that Barnet.

Noticed Kevin Whately and Melanie Hill were in a feature length ITV drama Joe Maddison's War on ITV3 last night along with predictably Robson Green. Again not really my thing/watched it but nice seeing these Auf Pet faces in something else.

I remember watching Joe Maddisons war a year or two back and didn't dislike it, even though Robson Green was in it!

Only watched the tail end of it but seemed half decent from what I saw... not really a 'period' fan but if it's good it's good.

A lot of you will know this short film directed by The Long Good Friday's John MacKenzie as it features a clip from The Sweeney at the start. Keep watching as two familiar AWP faces make an appearance later in the film as would-be nonces.

Bill Paterson aka Ally Fraser is in the new Dad's Army film which I watched yesterday. I didn't reckon much to the film but there were a lot of well known faces in it.

I remember a shorter version of the Don't talk to strangers film where the same girl at the school kept refusing to get in the car with that Professionals villain from "Not a Very Civil Civil Servant"............ In the other version he seemed to get the message and started the Cortina, giving a final disappointed look and drives off.
Saw one of the Auf Pet faces but not sure I recognised a second one.

Saw one of the Auf Pet faces but not sure I recognised a second one. Yes that's the one that got shown on tv a lot, Keith Chegwin did the voiceover I remember. The long versions were shown in schools though I don't recall seeing any of them. Peter Birch who plays Herr Ulrich is the other AWP face, just read that he died last year from cancer aged 65. Tim Spall appears near the end sporting an odd haircut & holding a Rubik Cube. Quite a few familiar faces- Brenda Blethyn, Yosser Hughes & that leggy blonde with bad eyesight who gets a driving lesson from Arthur in Minder
