... plus, I would surely cramp the style of the proceedings Don’t you believe it, get involved, it’s a great way to spend the weekend.

Thanks for all the posts again lads, it sounds as if the proceedings were up to Gene's usual standards. I'm gutted to have missed out on the iconic locations that we enjoyed last year as well as the new locations this time around. Sounds like it was a great weekend, love the pics. I would like to come on one of these meets at some point, cash a bit tight at the minute, but start a new job next Monday I feel similarly, but with added logistical problems ... plus, I would surely cramp the style of the proceedings Good luck in your new job! Let us know how it goes! It would be great to see you both at a meet or three in the future, you'd be made to feel welcome and you certainly wouldn't regret the day (or two) out from your normal weekend fare. The London meets that we've had have been traditionally the better attended as there are more members 'local' to the smoke and we get a few more classic motors to boot. That saying, we still have members joining us from as far north as Jockland for those meets so the distance is not so much of a barrier when you're certain of an entertaining weekend out. Sam.

Just to put any concerns to rest, we have had a few ladies join us on Meets over the years and many have returned year in year out. Any member of 4:3tv is more than welcome to join us on any Meet. The number of times people have said to me that they put off joining us for ages because they were cautious but then when they eventually did give it a try, all of them have said they are kicking themselves now for having missed so many Meets! The next one - 4:3tv Meet 007 will be announced around the end of April / beginning of May and registration will be open immediately. So don't p*** about you lot. If you want to have a great time, get your name on that register. Gene.

Great summary Gene and it really was another super weekend with the meet itself a fantastic historical look back at some great north-east locations, with some having changed more than others which is what we always find. And the weather also always seems to enjoy these meets by invariably being on best behaviour although even if it was tipping down, I'm sure we'd all see the funny side and make light of it . Lovely stuff.

Lovely stuff. And talking of the weather, I'm currently just held at a red signal on the approach to Newcastle and can see the Tyne bridge to my right with my back to direction of travel. Needless to say, it's tipping it down...

Timed to perfection regarding the weather. A lot of the photos in the reports have a fine blue sky in them. The same would not have been true this weekend !
Gene is it fair to say that meet 007 will be Bond themed ?
PS please check back over the next couple of days as i will add more photographs to the sunday section of my report. I'm suffering a few computer issues at the moment so this has delayed me getting them uploaded.

Looks like you lads had one hell of a weekend in my hometown. Canny lasses we have up our way though but aren't they eh?
Did any of you get in to The Ship Inn in Stepney Bank? One of my old haunts that, along with the Tanners a bit higher up.
TC.
