Anyone got tickets for anything this year? :)
I'm off to see The Coral tomorrow night
Jim Jones and Righteous mind in March
Idles in March
The Mekons in April
On 17 Feb I saw Holy Holy featuring Woody Woodmansey & Tony Visconti
On 3 Feb I saw Frank Turner
On 25 Jan I saw Vaccines
All were really enjoyable - been a good year so far.

I tend to see free bands in the pubs but I have to say some are getting really professional and very polished! I'm seeing a Mod tribute band March 16th called "Mad Mods and Englishmen" which come highly recommended, booked the tickets last weekend. No majorly well known bands so far but I keep an eye out at whats on.

I’m off to see Wilko Johnson in Southend next week supported by Glen Tillbrook. Always a good night with Wilko. Next up is Mott the Hoople at the Manchester Academy (actually quite excited by this), on Good Friday. Is Mott frontman Ian Hunter the oldest lead singer in Rock? Last gig I’ve got lined up is The Who at Wembley Stadium. I think that’ll be my lot for the year as travel, hotels, ticket prices inevitably take there toll. I really would like to see the current touring version of Atomic Rooster if they’re not too far away.

The Coral were great last night - better than I was expecting. Although for some strange reason the bass was very high in the mix so every bassline reverberated through our ribcages.
