A little bit of thread resurrection here, but I think we need to enjoy the sounds of Keith West and the Except from a Teenage Opera. This is the most famous of the handful of tracks to escape from the Teenage Opera project, which producer Mark Wirtz is still working on I really like this tune but the pedant in me always thinks what a bunch of :w***er: they were to poor old grocer Jack.

Co-founded by Albert Hammond in 1966, British vocal group The Family Dogg had a Top 10 hit in the summer of 1969 with 'A Way Of Life'.

Never heard that song or of The Family Dogg before, sounds similar to 'Zabadak' by Dave Dee Dozy Mick & Titch.
