Fairly shoddy photos I'm afraid - should probably have taken them in natural light! And please forgive the grotty carpets - new ones are on the to-do list! As I said in the thread previously, ABBA stuff is insanely expensive so I don't have that much but here's a few bits and bobs to begin with. ABBA - The Soap! A strange thing; even stranger that of all the merchandise floating around, these are actually fairly easy to get hold of - so maybe no one who bought them actually used them! Hailing from Oz (where, if you don't already know, ABBA were probably at their most famous - the Auzzies still go mad for them even today) ABBA earrings! A swedish jigsaw puzzle from back in the day: I'll be back with some more, later :)

Is it all really that collectable?
Annie has an ABBA jigsaw puzzle of them sat around a table, seemingly taking afternoon tea on the lawn. Is this a collectable one?
She'd never flog it due to sentimental reasons but she has that alongside every album and some annuals.
Sam.

I can't ever do anything right by you, can I Sam? :/ I just meant collection in that ... I've collected them. I wouldn't like to get into debate about how collectible something is. Annie clearly has good taste! Another puzzle, though not the same as Annie's - I haven't seen the one you describe. Frida Doll - I had to indulge in one of these because I saw them in an ABBA book when I was little and young enough to want to play with dolls, but obviously never had one because they're about 40 years old! Autographs on one of my favourite single's sleeves.

3 bars of the Abba soap with a box sold for £350- online.auktionsverket.se/1308/189244-abba-soap/I had a search for the manufacturer of the soap, they also produced soap of Muppet Show characters, I remember either me or my sister getting one of them for Christmas in the 70s, Kermit The Frog I think it was

Great collection Drakey. I would not have thought you could buy ABBA soap Mind you these tie-ins are all about generating revenue. I suppose its The Name Of The Game.

Very good You could get all sorts off things - most of them I’ve seen only on ABBA the Movie, though. From kids’ socks to perfume!

Annie clearly has good taste! Perhaps I should have added an emoticon after my statement to read: Is it all really that collectable? I wasn't doubting your collection or desire to collect, I was expressing my surprise that ABBA merchandise would still have such a demand. Women eh? Can't say two words to 'em! Sam

The joys of conveying tone through the written word. Sorry, Sam. Now understood!
Yes, there's still a fair demand for it - at least in the right places! There are still enough ABBA nuts around to ensure things command high-ish prices. The dolls. for instance, won't got for less than £60 without a box - with a box you can probably double that. Anything signed is an absolute bomb; despite the fact that they're all still around to continue signing things! But they are incredibly rarely in the same place and anything signed by the girls will fetch a pretty penny because they're very rarely in the public eye any more.
Their early singles are also fairly pricey. I will post some pics of those at some point. Whereas from Waterloo onwards it's all fairly easy to get hold of cheaply. That said, I have noticed that I rarely see any ABBA in a second hand music stall/store. I've taken that to mean that it sells pretty easily, or the people who have it don't sell it. Could be completely wrong!
