Great tune there Alex. Incidentally, it was written by Tony Hatch, who also composed the soundtrack to the film Sweeney 2 Gene.

Where do the films fit into the running order ? :) The first film, called "Sweeney!" was from 1976 (so around Series 3). The second, called "Sweeney 2" was filmed in late 1977 (during Series 4). You really need to get those two films too Alex as they are great. A bit harder edged than the episodes but good none the less. Gene.

I attended a BFI showing and Q&A event yesterday for a film shortly due for release. My Generation is a documentary presented by Sir Michael Caine. Michael gives his account of growing up a working class lad and the theme of the film is how his generation of ordinary people were the first group to challenge the establishment and make it in the 60s. The film also features Sir Michael interviewing his generation including Paul McCartney, Roger Daltrey, Twiggy, Marianne Faithful and more. I shall start a dedicated thread later with some more information

Some of today's fare, I've opted for some 60's instrumentals...

I’ve never quite bought the Herb Alpert line ... ???
Stranger on the shore, however, I do approve of.

Audiosurf reminds me of BBC1 show Take Hart where they show some of your work in The Gallery.
