Can't beat a nice selection of P6's ST - Thanks for posting these. Looks like a great turnout! Yours looks to be the best there as usual Gene.

The British Motor Museum at Gaydon is a fantastic place to hold such an event and the P6 day looked to be a perfect day out being dry but not too hot. Your P6 looks to be the pick of the crop and they look so much better without the badge bar on the front. Thanks for posting Simon. Sam.

A nice selection of pics there Saint, shame I couldn't have made it had a few things on which got in the way. Like the German P6. Thanks again for sharing and the effort in your P6 too mate.

Many thanks indeed Saint for the P6 Day photos - a nice selection there and your car always looks very fine amongst the others!

I saw another Jowett today, a Javelin, looked in good nick. I have noticed over the last couple of years that you do see a few of these knocking about, the fact that the firm which made them went bust in 1953 suggests a reasonable survival rate. They did have quite a big following, particularly in the North, when current, which seems to have never quite gone away

At the garage in Sale today, who do a bit of classic work, a 1932 Austin 7, I had a bit of a chat with the mechanic and he told me that it's been updated a bit and fitted with a Reliant Robin engine and hydraulic brakes. It looked completely original externally and was in very good nick.
Over the last three or four years I have seen one or two Austin Sevens, which suggests there are a few still going, which for a car made in the 1920s and 30s, this is good going. Yet, I can't remember when I last saw a Lada, which presumably means there are more Austin 7s than Ladas still on the road?
