I'll take the yellow Escort Mexico in the background.

Something a bit different in at work yesterday for me to weld up. Yes some of it is metal but most of the body panels are a bit like fibreglass. Has a 2 stroke engine so sounds like a moped. As Jasper Carrott once said "You Can't in a Trabant!" rare motor have you ever worked on these before BG? Thanks for sharing.

Two today, a P regd Silver Shadow, metallic blue, very smart, as nearly all Rollers are and another pre war Austin, this one was an Austin 10, at a guess I would say about 1937/8 ish. I've seen this one a couple of times too, in Northenden and Baguley, near where i work. Again, this one seems to be in daily use

Funny thing yesterday there was a bloke outside our work with a petrol leaf blower and I thought someone had started up the trabant.😂

Annie and I took a trip down to Bournemouth today in the P6 and spotted a few classics en route. As I was driving I didn't get any smudges but in the mix was:
An '84/85 B reg Mercedes SL in silver blue metallic, A beige '67/68 F reg Austin 1100/1300, A dark green '69/70 H reg Porsche 911, A pale yellow '79/80 Vauxhall Cavalier Coupe,
However, the icing on the cake for me was a metallic silver '85/86 C reg BMW 635 CSi
I was very surprised to see the Cavalier Coupe parked along Southbourne Overcliff as I must admit that it was a car I'd completely forgotten existed so it was good to see one still on the road and in use.
Sam.
