Spotted in and around Rugby this week (it must be the weather bringing them all out) - a very elegant looking mid '80s BMW 6 Series in dark blue, a green and white S1 88'' Landrover, a metallic maroon Kharman Ghia Coupe with Fuchs alloys, a khaki green split screen VW half cab and a Mk1 Austin Mini Cooper 997, a very early one in the correct period colours of Smoke Grey with an Old English White roof and with the proper two tone grey interior. I have a feeling it's the same Cooper I saw on someone's drive about four years ago, looking like it was in need of restoration. Villain

Spotted a Torqouise MGA on the staffs/Cheshire border, never seen one on the road before, later on I saw a Gold X reg Reliant Robin - put a smile on my face. I’ve also spotted a couple of Ariel motorcycles, namely a Leader two stroke and a Red Hunter single, both unusual to see on the road.

When I was on the way to Bognor the other week, I saw a grey Aston Martin DB6! registered 1970' Further in front of me pulling up the slip road! I was absolutely gutted I couldn't get a pic, just as I was about to it was off! so unfortunately ya gonna have to use your imagination! But all I can describe it as is probably the best Aston Martin I have ever seen! and so when I tell you that the number plate was 555HOT then I'm sure you will be in agreement lol!

Not sure mate. I just googled the reg and DB6 and thats what came up. It was at the festival of speed at Goodwood so that probably why you saw it. Looks mint though.

... and talking of Goodwood I was in the usual the M25 queue this afternoon behind this 1965 Alfa Romeo Guilia Sprint GT. As can be seen at the top of the rear screen there is a Goodwood sticker and it is good to see that it is still actively raced at such events as shown here: Sam.

Brilliant spots everyone! A bit more down to earth than some of the classics seen recently but passing me on a country lane today, was a more recent old car, you don't see now; a late 80's E reg Mitsubish Colt (Also known as the Mirage in some countries) 3 door hatchback. Seemed so small compared to most of the modern cars today. It was the car that the Malaysian Proton, launched in late 1989 was based on, although the "Aeroback" hatch version of that was restyled at the back compared to the earlier Lancer.
