I spotted this classic in Camden a couple of days ago. A stunning Mercedes 300SL. First registered 8th May 1989 and only on 50,000 miles having covered less than 2000 of those in the last 5 years! Gene.

Fabulous spots Gene! Volvos later attempt to compete with the Scimitar GTE by re-imagining the P1800 coupe.
I remember in the late 80's and into the early 90's, a dark green one of those 1800ES's parked next an approx 1970/71 red Chevrolet Camaro, on a house drive way near me at the time, for ages and eventually with the grassing growing up round them. Unfortunately the lady of the house, always politely said they weren't for sale, one car was her husbands and the other her sons according to a mate who knocked on the door to ask if they were for sale. But then I wondered why her family members wouldn't do anything with them and let them sit deteriorating for ages. Both long gone now.
Only classic I saw on the motorway today was a beige 70's VW Bay window camper van being carried on a transporter.
Last Saturday I did see in convoy go past, a lovely, mostly standard looking orangey yellow Vauxhall Magnum 4 door saloon, N reg with non standard wheels, but looked immaculate.

Those cars evoke the late 60s early 70s to me. Nice example Saint

Spotted this 1973 MGB GT in a 1974 episode of Public Eye. It looks like this car is still around! The Saint
