I spoke to Fuzz on Monday. He says they (National Geographic) haven't confirmed a fourth series - yet! He's quite optimistic though.

And on at this moment, I've just caught about fifteen minutes in on More 4, one of my favourite cars of my childhood, the Rover P6. Looks a great episode thus far (series 1, episode 6 which I missed first time round) so it looks like ch 4 will be regularly showing all previous episodes on repeat.

Is that the White P6 they restore in this episode Mick ?

Correct Del Boy. It was only when they started dismantling it that they realised what a complete bodge had previously been made of the chassis in order to pass an MOT. It was amazing they managed to complete it in the time available as the owner worked at West Ham bus garage in London and they'd pre-arranged him to be there regarding RML2760 as a ploy to get him there and present him with the Rover.
There was also that old bloke they interviewed who had seven P6s, mostly in states of distress in his back yard, but interesting all the same.
Given the complexities and pitfalls in restoring classic cars that have become derelict, there's clearly a market in restoration by those with the necessary skills and contacts to serve a market of people who can't and/or haven't got the time but as people have already said on this forum, the costs outweigh what you'd ever recoup if the true workshop and labour charges were included in the final cost to get the said vehicles roadworthy and pass an MOT.

Yes I thought it was. I enjoyed the episode and the end result was great. The P6 looks great in White.

I always thought the P6 police cars looked great in both the white or the navy blue and both colours are represented in Get Carter.
