Yes, those little technical bits are interesting and all the small companies doing specialist work.
Or where before this pesky virus.

Agreed the new UK based series is rumoured to be filmed on the Bicester Heritage setup - there are loads of classic car specialists working there which could be interesting.

Edd China was superb, obviously, but the criticism Ant Antstead has received has been way over the top. He's a very good TV presenter and clearly a highly skilled mechanic and fabricator. His only crime so far as I can see was replacing Edd. I'm assuming here we all liked him on For The Love of Cars with Gene Hunt. The only issue I've hd with the American series is the daft little "acting" pieces in the last few episodes. And the fact that they never did a Ford Gran Torino. Ant was good in For The Love of Cars and as a result I thought he would be perfect as the replacement for Edd in Wheeler Dealers. I totally agree that he is highly skilled both as a mechanic and as a fabricator so for me certainly not a crime that he replaced Edd as I was looking forward to him taking the role. But, as time went on and the "acting" pieces became more and more repetitive and unnecessary he started to grate on me as he couldn't carry them off in a casual or convincing manner. I haven't seen Marc Priestley in the other series yet so will certainly be giving it a watch as I'm hoping for a return to seeing motors that are or were commonplace in the UK rather than the US spec motors that have been the prime targets in the recent series. AMC Pacer? Sam.

The AMC Pacer!
I agree, but is has a place in pop culture thanks to Wayne's World.
That sci-fi, reflective wrap Edd did was shocking!
I'm looking forward to them doing my dream car, a Harvest Gold (Sweeney reference there) Austin Allegro Vanden Plas with a brown vinyl roof.
