Regarding parking I got through on the phone second attempt, and the receptionist sorted it right away for me. I also received a confirming email.

Yes, a brilliant response to far. Still plenty of room for more to join us though so don't just read about the great times we all have at these events, join us and be part of it all!
I'm still working on the itinerary and will post up more details soon.
Gene.

Time for the Itinerary folks! MEET UP UNDER THE TYNE BRIDGE (right next to The Premier Inn Quayside) at 9am.
COMMENCE MEET AT 9:30am Part 1.- AWP2 - Neville & Brenda's House
- WHTTLL - Terry misses the bus (Opening Credits Scene)
- AWP2 - Oz & Moxey return to Oz's Flat (Exterior view only - Actual door they go through was on flats in Nottingham)
- AWP2 - Norma's House
- LL - Move Yourself Ferris crossing
- LL - Bob is stuck on the Ship to Bahrain
- LL - Terry's Flat (Now gone. A green field marks the spot but much surroundings survive)
- WHTTLL - The Elm Lodge Housing Estate - Bob & Thelma's House
- WHTTLL - The Robin Hood Inn (As seen in the episode "The Great Race")
We will stop here for lunch and drinks - 90 minutes
- WHTTLL - The Barrasford Arms (As seen in the episode "Affairs & Relations")
We will take time for a swift pint here too! Part 2.
- LL - Thelma & Chris get out of the caravan by the church, and Bob & Terry drive off!
- GC - Kinnear's House (We'll see the gatehouse entrance but as the main house is private, we'll have to see how things go)
It is a decent drive between the final two locations (The Likely Lads Church & Kinnear's House) - about 25 miles or thereabouts. Then it it the drive back to The Premier Inn to end the day - This is about 25 miles again. I anticipate that we should get back to the Hotel at around 5.30 - 6pm. That will give us time for a freshen up before hitting the town one last time.
There will of course also be a pub tour on the Saturday evening, taking in a mixture of location pubs and non location pubs. No doubt a curry will be on the cards to conclude the Saturday evening.
Given the mileage we will be covering (similar or slightly more than the last Newcastle Meet, it will be necessary for all passengers in cars to help their driver with something towards fuel costs. Personally, I think £10 per person is relatively fair.
Any questions regarding any aspect of the itinerary - especially drivers, don't hesitate to ask me. I'll help all I can. As you can see, it is more important than ever before that we can rely on you as drivers to turn up for this event. It would leave everyone in a total mess if a driver failed to show.
Here is a sample of what we can all look forward too. Hope you like the look of it! (Click to enlarge) Gene.

What a great selection Gene. I love the Likely Lads episode The Race and i'm also looking forward to seeing Terry's Bus stop from the opening credit montage of the same show. The second watering hole will be very welcome in order to deposit the fayre consumed in the first watering hole The Get Carter finale is an interesting location too. I know the final location is a bit of driving but its a great bit of the country and the miles drift away easily up there. I would like to thank those driving in advance of this meet. Cheers guys.

Yes, yes, yes Absolutely love WHTTLL and am really, really looking forward to going to the Elm Lodge Housing Estate!! Likewise The Barrasford Arms. The Great Race has extra meaning for me as they're racing to my home town (hell of a ride though from Borehamwood to Berwick ) If it was just these locations it would be a great meet but the additional LL/WHTTLL and AWP locations make this another top weekend. Great stuff Gene. Only 19 weeks to go
