I say, it looks to have been a most enticing event, I must try to attend next year.
Thank you so much for posting up the pictures but who on Earth is that imposter alongside my old car? He'd never make the grade at modelling fashionable knitwear!

Lord Brett, that is the Saint a moderator on here. Is he indeed? Hmmm, he still couldn't model fashionable knitwear but I respect his role here on the forum, you chaps do a wonderful job of keeping this forum a charming corner of the interweb. Lord Brett

Just a few more that I took last weekend. A beautiful Maserati 3500 GTi I'd happily drive the Maserati home. What an impressive looking car. I can't say that it's the 'prettiest' design (just my opinion) but I like it. How do they get them so shiny ! Great pics Gene Hunt.

Nice Transit. There are a few of those about but they all seem to be Ex German Fire Department vehicles. Not sure about that one though being Right hand drive although I have seen one converted before. The green SD1 is nice too, Seen that in Practical Classics Magazine. They all look like nice cars to be honest. Thanks for posting. The green SD1 is my mate Jon's car, I rode shotgun with him on the set up day on Thursday, it wafted along the A45 with aplomb and got some puzzled looks from other drivers! On Friday a nice chatty bloke came over and told us he had an identical one which he's restoring, same year, same 2600 engine and the same colour so next year's club stand might be a bit of an eyeful! I had a good old wander round on Thursday and Friday (mince pies out on stalks as per usual!) and took a load of smudges but can't upload them yet. I spent a lot of time looking very closely at the early Porsche 911s and 912s on show as I'm thinking of taking the plunge on a solid usable 912 if the sale of a portion of my back garden through. I sat in one of the for sale examples for quite a while and was impressed with the design, engineering, build quality and simplicity of it, it certainly got the old juices flowing. I was shocked at how small they look now compared to the modern 911s. Villain
