I don't remember that one Arthur, but I've got a lot of time for continental films.
I wish they still showed them. If I'm correct they used to be shown on a Friday night.
One that I do remember was a French comedy film with a well known French actor called Pierre Richard. He played a lawyer who gets kidnapped by his client during an prison escape, while the lawyer is visiting the client. I thought it was hilarious at the time.
I tried to buy it a while back on eBay but, the seller said it didn't have English subtitles.
Charles.

Not sure I know that one Charles, 'La Carapate' or 'The Escape' is the title, though often when you start to watch these films you realise you have seen it in the distant past. I have got another of the same director's films on blu ray, 'The Brain', a 1969 caper film with David Niven as a criminal mastermind, it's a French blu ray with English subtitles though most French releases tend not to unless the film is well known outside of France. Anyway I better not take the HHofH thread off topic, I'll start a separate thread for foreign films

I was down in the Hammer House of Horror locations area yesterday and took a couple of photos from probably the best episode of the series: 'The Silent Scream'. Chuck and Annie's house (Then) Now... The house is located on Pump Lane South, Little Marlow, Bucks The Central Pet Shop (Then) Now... Blueck's pet shop is located on Broad Street, Chesham, Bucks Vi

Thanks for posting these Vi I went to Pump Lane South in 2004 and it's a lovely place, but a little noisy with traffic from the A404. I also did the shop in Chesham the same day, as well as the house from "The House That Bled To Death" & the road where the family see the man in the yellow mac in the field in "Two Faces Of Evil". In fact, the big tree root he is stood by is still there after all these years! This has given me the desire to redo these HHoH locations Gene.

Great shots Vi and this is my favourite episode, followed by The House That Bled To Death. Would like to see these locations myself one day.

Hammer Films were based at Hampden House, Great Hampden, Buckinghamshire during the making of the series, and interior and exterior scenes from the house and grounds feature heavily in several episodes. The Chesterton Clinic from 'The Thirteenth Reunion' THEN NOW The nearby church also features in one or two episodes. Ben's funeral scene from 'The Thirteenth Reunion' THEN NOW Vi

Great Hampden village has a couple of great locations from the series, and the local roads were also used for several scenes from various episodes. Harry and Penny's home from 'Visitor from the Grave' is not far from the pub. THEN NOW The Lewis family holiday cottage from 'The Two Faces of Evil' is not far from here and is hidden away off the road. THEN NOW Vi
