More good stuff Vi I definitely prefer the buildings as they were in the 70's, dirt an everything. Shop fronts look better too compared to modern frontages.

Probably more traditional shops back then too compared with the usual coffee shops, chicken shops, tattooists and nail bars that dominate our high streets these days

Great series of Then and Now picks Fur-ball, thanks for taking the time to collate them and post them up on here.
I agree that the street scenes were better back then, High Streets were relied on for everything back then whereas now they're definitely on the demise.
Sam.

Great write up Vienna and pics! Ive always liked thriller, the episodes are so diverse and quirky! and the series is littered with famous actors! Something at the top of the stairs is very scary and I still won’t watch it on my own late at night lol! I like echo of Theresa ’ it’s very interesting and keeps you gripped and ya don’t know where the story is leading till the very end! the character Mathew Earp played by Dinsdale Landen is just absolutely hilarious, I like the fact that he also stars in another Thriller episode where he’s equally as good! Ya could almost imagine Mathew Earps character having his own mini detective series where he’s the main star!

It was mentioned in at least one of the national newspapers this morning that the actor Geoffrey Chater, who appeared in a couple of Thriller episodes and in so much TV from the 1950s until 2005, is 100 years old today! Happy Birthday Geoffrey
