My turn to stick my neck out: - football fans that say 'we' when talking about the team they support as if they are in the team
- football fans that say 'you' when talking to another team's fan as if they are in the team
- armchair team managers in the train on my commute, slagging off footballers or teams as if they could do better
- calling footballers and/or teams "heroes" - the armed and emergency services are heroes, not footballers!
- people that pick up a newspaper and go straight to the back pages to read match reports as they're more important than headline news
- people who expect you to like football and support a team
- people who put up the flag of St George on their house/car when an international match is on but not on 23rd April
- people who ask if there's an international match on when I put up a flag of St George on 23rd April
- people who think "You'll never walk alone" is patriotic but can't sing the first line of 'Jerusalem' let alone know who wrote it or who composed the music score
So my gripe isn't with the game of football or of footballers themselves, just the irrational behaviour that it can bring out from some otherwise sane people.

Not forgetting Sam Smith! Adele and Sam Smith produced probably the worst ever Bond themes in my opinion - mind you, Spectre was crap anyway so the theme suited it to a tee. Sam (Tyler) In the same category - along with Will Young. Either of those three suddenly playing on the radio has me reaching (& retching) for the power button. Can anyone seriously compare them with voices like George Michael or Whitney Houston? Gene.

Agree on Adele and Ed Sheeran. Both did one song I liked, Rolling in the Deep and Sing, other than those two, all of their stuff is awful, boring dirges.
I'm possibly going to be a bit controversial here, but the Monarchy. I find the whole thing deeply boring and the sycophantic, cringey reporting on them in the media is just awful.

Agree with Sam Tyler there - too right!!
I can't stand it when some people take it so badly when their football team loses and act like they have to lie down in a darkened room for ages. Then there's the stupid chanting and loud behaviour from away fans on trains and at stations, which frankly sounds intimidating, as well as irritating and if they been drinking all day on the way there, they're liable to be violent or rude and insulting if you tell them to pipe down as you're trying to relax on the train - Grrrr! (Although I've never dared say anything to them!!)
Another thing is (like at my workplace at one stage) people who expect you to know all about the modern crap on TV and think you're watching it and like it and can't believe it when you tell them you don't and think it's even more crazy when you say you like retro stuff!! Well it's up to us, free country FFS!!
I've been told that myself and my mates (including your good selves on this forum) "sound like a load of grumpy old men!" LOL!
Also - people who join forums and only post about once or twice when they've just been lurking and they've seen something that catches their eye which they don't agree with, have a moan and don't post again (Happened on the TV Lounge at least a couple of times).

James Bond was a white male and Dr Who is also male so why the clamour to change these facts for the sake of "equality". Can you imagine the appropriation accusations if they made Shaft starring Kenneth Brannagh or Buffy The Vampire Slayer with Vinnie Jones? Not sure about Coldplay being the most overrated band but they sure are the most boring.
