Er, that would be Mrs Three Litre. You poor sod! I hope you've got another TV? Sam. Several, biker-type person. There's nothing worse than watching some American lass specifying and trying a "sexy" wedding dress. They're awful. You're not supposed to be sowing off your assets. Aw gawd, I commenting on the damn show now .......................

I was unfortunate enough to cop a glimpse of this show a week or so ago and it is every bit as as Arthur says. It beggars belief that any human being with a shred of sanity would enter into a marriage with another person they have never even met, let alone seen a picture of. It's indicative of the moral decay we have in society these days. The marriage certificate means absolutely nothing to any of them. It is all about getting their faces on the box. Pathetic. Good nom Arth Gene. I've seen trailers on the box for this and just wonder what goes through their heads. Not just the twats that appear but the program makers and the TV companies themsleves. It is such puerile garbage. There's also trailers for something called "90 day fiance", is that really what TV needs to bring in the viewing public? Not in my gaff it doesn't! Another one I've seen trailers for is "Say Yes to the Dress"... really? Who watches this sort of cack? There's some bloke that is more camp than a field of tents putting munters into wedding dresses for the world to see. I can see why the trailers always show them ending up in tears, I'd be in tears if I had to watch it! Sam. That's the shape of our TV industry today sadly. I really wish this "reality" or "unscripted" TV (as the BBC like to call it) bubble would burst with great proportions.
Thing is, TV producers love it - as they can get a wannabie celeb, or even a Z list celeb at a very cheap price - who will do totally anything on TV - and of course, they have to include someone who may do or say something controversial - and this gets the papers talking, those viewers gossiping and their social media sites into meltdown. They don't need to pay for any publicity. One they can guarantee a cheap to produce programme, that will sell air time to advertisers and sponsors - they are quids in.
The BBC are launching a new daytime morning magazine - so what will happen to all the Finger Wagging / Nanny State crap that usually pump out in the morning - I expect that'll pop up n Prime Time.
Is it true George Osbourne (ex Chancellor) is tipped as next Chairman for the BBC.....
His new office will hopefully be "Room 101".

I read an interview with a man who got married on 'Married At First Sight' & he described how he replied to an advert asking volunteers to take part in a 'social experiment', he said he wasn't told that the show involved getting married until late into the contestant selection process, by which time he claims that it would've been difficult to back out. The jist of it was that there was coercion & deception used.

Now, now Sam I can’t believe what people will watch and it’s the majority, not the few. I recently discovered several of my colleagues watch Gogglebox ...

That's another load of pony that I can't believe exists - there's even a bloody Celebrity Gogglebox for Cliff's sake! Mind you, stick around and we'll probably hear that Essex sits and watches it with his other half... Sam.

I imagine you’re right!
Thankfully I haven’t seen more than trailers for it but it really does defy belief. If it’s not a form of escapism, a good story or you’re learning something I just don’t really see the point and these programmes do none of the above.

Oh dear. Actually I’d better stay quiet about that one.
