Can't wait for the storms. Bet we don't get one either, bloody weathermen. Damned right, I wouldn't trust either of these weathermen: Sam.

Just had a prolonged lightning display where I live followed by thunder & heavy rain. Can't remember seeing lightning like it before, it looked like a giant light bulb was on the blink for half an hour. I googled 'electrical storm' & bizarrely someone has already uploaded a video of what must've been the same one in Southport earlier on-

Yes we had that here last night too. The off thing was there was no thunder, just flickering light in the sky

No idea how Andrew Flintoff got to be a tv personality And whose idea was it to have him & McGuinness as a double act when there's little to choose between them? Lancashire's answer to Ant & Dec.

In the past we've often gone on about how much Americanisms creeping into our language annoy us. There was a bad road rage incident today in Portsmouth, and someone shouted out "Call 911." As someone commented it just goes to show how much this yankee stuff gets into our minds. Really? That's ridiculous. Potentially a concern, I suppose, if kids think that's the number to call in an emergency! But I think actually that if you do dial 911 over here, it connects to 999.

Yeah, think it does from a mobile. Try it and ask for Gene!
