I've seen the phrase "living my best life" a few times on Instagram, what the hell does that mean? When I'm in charge there's going to be some changes See also : ''be the best version of yourself you can be''. Pass the sick bag, quick...! Villain Were getting close to corporate office speak - that is one of my pet hates. Wasn't this discussed earlier in the thread?
How many versions of yourself are there? I assume, Good One, Bad One, Mediocre one?

Naff remakes ............
The remake of some lost Dads Army episodes is currently on Gold.
Bloody awful.
I'm sure they could have found better actors.
That film they did was a dud as well.
Not sure why they attempt these.

Remakes are always a bone of contention with me too, as I'm sure they are with many on here. How on earth they thought they could emulate the original cast is a total mystery. I think any remakes or shows cashing in on the success of the original deserves to go straight into room 101. No question.

I came across this sketch from Australian tv, surprised that Dad's Army is well known enough over there to be satirised, it must be repeated as much as it is here, they poke fun at the 'Birds Of A Feather' re-boot at the end as well.
I noticed that they'd done some lost episodes of Dad's Army with a new cast. I think the idea is a bad one, they did the same with unfilmed scripts of 'Till Death Us Do Part'. People say 'they did a good job' but why would you want to see these shows with anyone other than the original cast? In the case of Dad's Army, Porridge, etc., even if new actors turn in good performances it's still impossible to divorce the characters from the original actors who played them.

The Beeb remade some Hancock radio shows recently and again without the lad himself it just doesn't work.
Might as well re-run World War 2 without Hitler, wouldn't have the same atmosphere.

And do you remember the Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads? episode with Ant & Dreck? Yes, I do. Think the non James Bolam guy was in it. Otherwise its forgettable. Also, WHTTLL is one of my favourite comedies.

I vaguely remember an attempt at Reggie Perrin without Reggie a few years ago which was very poor. The Porridge effort was bad as well.
