Thanks for the great photos Charles, another great reminder of a great weekend. Was superb to be on Blackhall Rocks and the area were Terry Collier was fishing in the WHTTLL film is another great picturesque location.

I will defer to Gene's and the other moderator's judgement, but personally I would prefer to go back to the North East next April, but I know we will have a great time, whatever the decision. It's great that these forum meet events branched out, a year or two back. There are so many other film and TV series locations that we can contemplate doing.
Charles.

An Auf Pet Series 2 Meet is VERY much on the cards Steve and a likely alternative to Newcastle for October. Again, there are enough locations from AWP S2 to warrant 2 Meets. I have quite a few irons (no - no The Saint) in the fire. A Robbery Meet, A Villain Meet, On The Buses Meet etc. I can't rule out a Life On Mars Meet either.... There's a fantastic selection just in that reply alone! As mentioned by Steve Austin I would also love to see Thornley Manor and The Barley Mow but wouldn't know how they'd fit in relation to other locations - which is why Gene is the master of preparing the itinerary for these meets as they're readily referenced from his swede. Sam.

A Get Likely 2 Tour sounds great to me and I'm easy to go with either April or October for this too. Suppose the reason why we're so up for going back is this meet was so good and that's down to the work Gene puts into these and the past meet's we've done. Also I think what helped was all of us staying over together too and not simply turning up at Colet Gardens on the Sunday and disappearing around the early evening too. Kind of helped build the 'Comradeship' as Barry once said but the great weather, locations and banter made this meet one of the best in my opinion, even better than the Sweeney meets where we've had guests. Whatever is decided you've got my full support (and help if necessary) and can't wait to see what is on the cards for October!

I was also thinking about the fact that we stayed the weekend, and that it was an extended meet. I liked that a lot about our recent event. I hope it works out that we can do it again now and then, that's if it suits everyone, I know some of us might have other commitments. Gene's recent meets have given a big boost to these forum outings. As you say Dirty, I can't wait for October. Charles.

Great pictures Charles. Thanks for putting them up. I'm happy to go wherever the meet is because I know with Gene's planning it will be top drawer. Having the extra light and summery feel definitely helped make it last longer and gave us more time to cover everything with ease. The weekend away is definitely a trump card though as it gives us more time to chat to each other and there's no rushing off to catch a train or drive home. Gives it a more relaxed feel. As others have said whatever it is we'll be there. Its all we can do after all the planning you put into these meets for us Gene.
