A good track for driving on the motorway in the Cortina in the pouring rain Sam
I've just been for tea in the Kabana in Rusholme for a curry and heard this tune on the radio...
Gene.

I really like this band and this was a worthy number 1.

A curry?
That is music for burgers, not curry!
Another one of a similar vintage that came on in the car earlier when I went to pick Annie's niece up from school:

After watching 'Skinhead' on BBC4 I decided to investigate the music further as the jukebox at the Barley Mow is mostly Duran Duran, Black Lace & others. I came across this group called Hard Skin with a song that describes some of the visitors to my hostelry. Note- Offensive language

Wallowing in 80's nostalgia today.
Had this blasting out on the way back from work.
Eric Clapton - Behind The Mask.

Brilliant track there Gene, from the album "August". Still have that on CD from when it was released and "Behind The Mask" was my favourite.
If I remember rightly the album bought Clapton back into the mainstream after many years away.
This was what I was listening to in the car tonight:
Sam.

Been listening to a lot of TV and film soundtracks recently, 'The Music Of ITC' CD gets a good thrashing in the car on the way to work with some excellent tracks from The Saint, The Persuaders, The Protectors, Jason King, Department S, Randall & Hopkirk, Strange Report etc, all very atmospheric and nostalgic stuff. A few months ago I bought a couple of individual ITC soundtrack sets including the one for The Protectors, some of the tracks are quite short but the quality is very good, for some reason this sort of stuff always sounds even better if you're listening to it while driving on the motorway at night in the rain....! Villain I agree Villain, I have been listening to my own Sweeney mix lately with this one being the pick of the bunch for me. It has that "ITC" sound to it too.
