What are you listening to right now? It doesn’t matter if it’s on your 8 Track Car stereo, home Hi-Fi, Vinyl, CD, DAB, Internet Radio, mp3, Spotify, or SoundCloud. A 45, EP or an album. Whatever your preference, find a link to the music that's now playing in your life and share it with others. And maybe a sentence to tell us what that record means to you, or what you’re doing while listening to the record would be nice. As ever, comments on posters music choices welcome. To get the ball rolling, here’s a seasonal record for Autumn now that the leaves are turning brown.... and it tells a wonderful story. And is the lyric “Well I got down on my knees, and began to pray” or “Well I got down on my knees, and pretend to pray” ?

Good thread Windy. This morning whilst doing some decorating I was playing a 1978 playlist which was made by an old friend of mine ,Electric Soup. He made this up a few years ago after discussing Totp repeats elsewhere before 4:3 tv took up the baton. Having watched all the repeats from 1976 up to the current 1982 showings, 1978 has been my favourite year of music. Here's the link to the playlist which has been somewhat decimated with vid removals the usual YT nonsense. It needs stocking back up at some point or hopefully new 4:3 tv linked playlists 1978

Rumour has it that he plays "Tainted Love" and "Small Town Boy" on repeat.

Well, I've just driven home in the Quattro with this blasting in me earholes.
It won't take a genius to spot the lead singer....

Great song Gene, but I think Gary should just stick to the day job. RIP

Great song Gene, but I think Gary should just stick to the day job. RIP Agreed. Not a great voice, but full if charisma! Gene.

He ruined my daughter Carol but I must admit to liking the little yobbo's music, especially the Heavy Metal Kids 'Live And Loud' LP which contains some hilarious between song banter.
