I've been hearing things about the next series of the great little car restoration show. Filming has been taking place since March so hopefully it'll be on our screens later this year.
Phil Glenister & Ant Anstead attended the Silverstone Classic Media Day in April and did a bit of filming, Ant Anstead confirmed on Twitter. They have also been spotted filming in Welwyn Garden City, and Tewin, where Anstead has his workshop.
I'm looking forward to this!
Gene.

Sounds good Gene, they always select a great mix of vehicles to restore so I am looking forward to the next series The Saint

This is a great series but I hope they show a bit more of the restoration this time instead of the 'asides' that they did in series 2.
I'm still looking forward to it though, a great show and not to be missed.

Didn't think I'd like this as I'm not really into cars (as long as they get me from A-B and back again).... However, it was brilliant. I loved seeing how Ant brought them back to life. My favourite was the Mini Cooper which, if I'd had the money, I would have bought! I'd have also loved to have bought the Aston DB9 for Phil but that cost more than my house!..........

Do we know whether or not there will be any more series of this? :/ You seemed to be discussing a third above but I’ve only been aware of two. I mean ... beautiful cars and Philip Glenister ... what’s not to love?

It would have been good to have seen a third series but now that Ant is on Wheeler Dealers over in the states I can't see the series being on the cards.
From what I hear, a lot of the restoration work in the second series was farmed out and not completed at Ant's restoration premises anyway.

I didn't realise that what a shame. I also hadn't realised how many years ago it had been, already! Crazy.
