Spy Hunter had the music from 'Peter Gunn' as it's theme. It was a car game, from what I remember you shot cars off the road, you bashed cars off the road, and every now and again an articulated lorry would appear on screen-and a ramp comes out of the back, you drive up the ramp into the trailer, and after 30 secs or so the lorry stops;the ramp appears again and your car rolls out,and it's been modified James Bond style;either with 'oil slick' facility,or machine gun facility,or whatever.Great game-can anybody look it up and post a bit up on the thread?

Outrun and Space Invaders for me.
There used to be Outrun on a machine at a pub I used to go to of a lunchtime with mates from work in Bracknell. The challenge was always to race using the accelerator only and no brakes - which was then followed by the same challenge back to the office!
Sam Cheers Sam , Btw was the OutRun you played this one ? OR this one That takes me back!
It was the top one. It was in a pub so it wouldn't have been the seated version as it takes up too much floor space.
The other game we had was the Cal-games or California Games, anyone else have that?
It was a series of events such as skateboarding in a half-pipe, BMX bikes, surfing, might have been roller-skating too. I didn't bother with most of it apart from the BMX bikes, pulling wheelies and various flips and stunts.
Sam.

Space Invaders tops - have an original machine, complete with retro cabinet in full working order at home. How sad is that?
Other fave game was Phoenix; excellent!

You have an original Space Invaders, excellent Stan, I'm well jealous I remember Pheonix, it was a fantastic game. I loved the flying saucer sheet.

I would love an original Space Invaders machine. I did buy Space Invaders for my playstation 1 and of course I had it on my Atari console in the 1980's. Happy days Steed
