Yes it's from January 1975. I'll put some other scans of TV Times Public Eye articles/listings up in the next few days. It must've been a hit show as it features quite a bit in TV Times back issues.

Cheers Arthur 'Nobody Wants to Know' the first episode from Series 7, transmitted in early 1975, got around 8 million viewers and articles on the show were regularly featured in the TV Times, Daily Mirror and The Sun, according to TV historian Andrew Pixley. Series One of The Sweeney started out on Thursdays at the same time in January of course. Vi

Crikey. Mrs Haskins looked a lot younger in The Strauss Family than she did 3 years later in Golden Fleece.

During Series 5 (1971) and Series 6 (1972-73), Frank Marker was based in Eton, Windsor. Many of the stories were set in the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire area. Here are a couple of Then and Now photos of his office and the antique shop, where he used to visit Nell Holdsworth (Brenda Cavendish) for a cup of tea and some advice on some cases he was was working on... Frank's office, 93 Eton High Street (1971) Now... Manor Antiques, Eton High Street (1971) Now... Vi

Nice photos Vienna. I too am a huge fan of Public Eye, and have been for a long time now. Nell Holdsworth is indeed a lovely girl. I wonder if she's still acting ? She'd be around seventy now. Charles.
