He had a couple of great races but also binned a lot of machinery and had dozens of DNF's.

No loss there as far as I'm concerned. Yeah think it's time for Maldanado to move over for younger/quicker drivers. Yes has had some decent races in his time/a win but has also had some real stinkers too. If he had the talent he'd be in the top teams by now too!

Looks good some echoes of the Prost/Arnoux era of the early 80s in that livery too ;)

I agree. The colour scheme is stunning, and it nicely coordinates with the Pirelli tyres (Softs). Renault's driver line up is not strong. With Jolyon Palmer and Kevin Magnussen, I'm not sure there's enough experience there to bring the team much success.

Renault works teams always seem to have success so it will be interesting to see if they do it again this time.

I'm pretty sure the Renault livery is just for testing and they're waiting to see the (rumored to be yellow) Haas colour scheme before the official launch.

It is quite impressive to see the schedule listed like that. It makes me realise what a pretty tough gig it is to win the championship. I'm going on race day this year (Melbourne of course) on the Sunday. Last year I went on a qualifying day but first time on the Sunday race day this year. Surprisingly the deal for two days (Sat & Sun) with a grandstand seat was only a little bit more than the race day. Maybe they have trouble filling the stands on the pre days. I was in the Schumacher stand last year and I really liked being on turn 15 as they slow down and you can see them but my son kept wanting to see the start and finish. You really cannot see that at all unless you are in a grandstand so I've selected seats in the Fangio stand so bit exciting about that. (The time I took deciding what section of the stand was really ridiculous ) I know they'll be racing past too fast to take good pics but apparently the noise should be louder this year, or so they say.

It would be interesting to know how much you paid for Grandstand seats in Australia Batgirl. I have a Grandstand seat at Silverstone this year and it was £375. So looking forward to it. I went every year from 1995 to 2010. I've also been to Monaco, Spa, Hockenheim & Magny Cours. Expensive but a fantastic spectacle.
