I started watching Ashes to Ashes last night, ( Whilst sipping a few bottles of Belgian beer.)and about time too. It was brilliant seeing the first appearance of Gene and his team again, seven years on from Life On Mars. Phillip Glenister is as good as ever in the part. I found the woman Alex Drake slightly annoying at times in the first episode. I loved the end bit where Gene knowing Alex was stressed out, coolly walks over, pours her a full glass of red wine and goes back over to where he was sitting, leaving her alone. Will be watching ep. 2 tonight. I'm not going to rush the three series, they're too good for that. Really glad you love the series Charles. Stick with Alex Drake though. She's bloody awesome in the flesh! Seriously though, she plays a very good part in the series as it progresses. Keep in mind that she is actually supposed to be a little irritating to the Guv'
Raymondo.

I'm up to episode four. I've not watched it for about ten days now, as I've had a lousy virus which is just about gone now. I wanted to give A 2 A my full attention so I postponed it for a bit. Can't wait to start watching it again, it's a brilliant series. Bronson.

Glad to hear your on the mend Charlie. You are right indeed not to rush watching the series. They're far too good for that. Don't forget to post up your thoughts about the episodes as you progress through the series
Gene.

Thank's a lot Sam and Gene. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of A 2 A. We've had some great weather up here where I live. Hope it's been nice down in your area.

It's been great here too. Let's hope it's like it for the meet.

The weather has been great. I was down in Axminster and Lyme Regis over the weekend and it was ideal: bright sun and cool enough for a good walk.
If the meet is the same I won't be grumbling.
Sam.

The weather has been great. I was down in Axminster and Lyme Regis. Sam. Nice place Lyme Regis. We went there one day about 18 years ago, when stayed in Seaton for the week. Bronson.
