I watched the last ten or fifteen minutes of last nights episode, and then I went on BBC iplayer to watch a previous one. Pretty good really but I really will have to start listening hard to cut through those accents. Charles. Most of my family are Scottish so it's nae bother for me, you'll be rewarded though Charles, stick with it

Thoughts on the series so far?
Last night's episode was pure dead brilliant so it was, best so far. Appearances by Nev from Auf Wiedersehen and Ella from Rab C Nesbitt. Story was great too, very funny. Hope you're all enjoying it as much as I am.
I think that this series definitely stands up against the older ones. Yes. The episode where Jack and Victor trashed Tam's kitchen was brilliant. Jack bursting in waving his Scotland Concessionary Bus Pass as ID was hilarious.

I thought last night's episode with Navid as barman in The Clansman was comedy gold. The way he was restricting the amount of drinks that everyone was having was hilarious.
It's so refreshing from the usual middle-class smart-arse comedy that the BBC serves up.

Been enjoying the new series and although IMO not quite there with the classic eps it's still kept it's original charm. Still Game is Still Game.

Have enjoyed it too, the same great formula as the earlier series, yes good to see Auf Pet's Nev turn up as a dentist and the most recent with Navid running the pub was a hoot!

A friend was talking to me about this series the other week. He was telling me that he had just watched the final episode (After nine series it's just come to an end.) He was telling me that the last episode was very poignant.
Anyway after that, I finally looked it up on Netflix and found out they have seven complete series available so I have started watching it and I've got into it in a big way, there is also a complete live show lasting two hours available on YouTube. I'm up to series two at the moment.
They are showing some final live shows in an arena in Glasgow this November. I would have loved to have gone up there but they are sold out.
The banter is absolutely ruthless. It's about pensioners, but 'Last Of The Summer Wine' it is not.
If anyone has Netflix and hasn't seen it I urge you to give it a try.
Charles.
