I loved Rab C Nesbitt. So this should be right up my street. Same here, I loved Rab C Nesbitt but somehow missed Still Game

I loved Rab C Nesbitt. So this should be right up my street. Me too Del apart from the last series they made in the late 90's. The 2009 'special' was very good but then the two series they made after that were a bit poor again IMHO

Just saw that they have started filming a new series of Still game. Excellent. Brilliant news. One of the funniest comedies ever, and a news series is not before time. Incidentally, the estate where they live is called Craiglang

I watched some episodes of Still Game about ten years ago, when a workmate loaned one of the series to me. I will look forward to seeing it again. We certainly need something to laugh at on the box these days. All they seem to show is smart arse types laughing at each other's so called jokes. Saying that though, I do like watching Ian Hislop and Paul Merton now and again. I hope Still Game is back on soon. Bronson.

Back 7th October 9.30pm BBC1! {Here's a bit about the first episode :-} Craiglang's residents can't resist the temptation of the Futuroo catalogue and its innovations to 'make life that wee bit easier'. However, it quickly becomes apparent these gadgets do anything but.
Meanwhile, Winston receives a registered letter which sees him prepare for the arrival of his brother, Walter. As Jack and Victor spar over whose gadget is best, there's a spot of sibling rivalry between Winston and Walter.
Later, Winston confronts Walter on the real reason for his surprise visit and Jack needs help after taking himself off for an unfeasibly long bath.
Classic Still Game - "Can you see me noo?"
