RIP George. A favourite creation of his for me was The Car from the film of the same name.

The Batmobile was truly iconic and easily his most recognisable creation.

RIP George Barris. Amazing creative talent. Creator of the Batmobile, Green Hornet's car, the Beverly Hillbillies jalopy, The Car, the Munster car and K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider. An online news article quoted his son saying " He lived his life they way he wanted til the end."

RIP the legend that is George Barris - certainly were some Iconic cars produced, his work on "less famous - non film/tv related" cars was legendary too.
As well as the Batmobile, always thought he did an amazing job on the Horror film car "The Car" - making a car on 4 wheels just look sinister and disturbing when standing still......... and that horn sound in the film!!
