Thank you all for this post. I was amazed, as a young boy, by the Silver Shadow. At the time, I could hardly see any in street of Paris, where I used to live. I could only see some in British TV series ( the Avengers, the Persuaders, return of the saint, the Professionals....) which were quite popular in France too. Some are still shown on French television.
I didn't know either that I would buy one, someday. And this is what happened in 2012. What a surprise to discover her forgotten career ! So many films and TV series this particular appeared in ! I am still searching for more tv series or films and this particular car career. In 1968, it was bought by KINGSBURY MOTORS Ltd. ( car rental company based in London NW9 ) This company had a fleet of all kinds of car and supplied TV and film studios for many years until 1982. ( John Steed's Bentley 4.5 L, Dr. Who spaceship, police cars, hearses, including a whyte Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III reg. no. 3KMH which is seen in MINDER and Brian Clemens THRILLER TV SERIES, etc....)
Unfortunately, Because of my French origins, my British television culture is quite poor....So I need YOUR HELP !!! So if you see a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow light grey with front fog lights under the bumper, with registration no. MWF435F or OPH2, this is the CAR !!!! Please let me know and have a look on the dedicated website : www.shadow1967.com
Many thanks

Sorry to have missed your previous message in 2018. I am still searching for this car's history in films and tv series.
Today, this is the most filmed individual Rolls-Royce motor car, I am proud to say.
Last week, I have seen it again in " BLESS THIS HOUSE " an old tv series with Sid James who drove the car in the episode called " A Rolls by any other name " ( 1972 ) which you can watch on Dailymotion.
Because of Covid-19, I couldn't travel to south of England last june, but I hope to to bring her to her roots in june 2021 in the south of England, in the Brighton area. A lot of work has been carried out ( brakes, suspension...) since 2018. A car like this, made in 1967 needs to run, but needs attention....
