I found this out from a chap who's been posting on a Facebook thread I'm on about cars used The Professionals. It was a nice surprise as the poster who's from France owns this particular 1967 Shadow which has been used in a number of productions of film and TV which would interest members on this forum. Hopefully the link below will help: It has an English translation in case it's reverted back to French. It's a website about the car itself and been set up by its owner. He has told me he is keen to one day to bring it back to England for TV and film festivals etc and wondered who would be interested in this country. Bit late for this years NEC Classic show but it would be nice if he could bring it somewhere - perhaps someone like Martin Buckley may be interested in some sort of magazine article in Classic and Sportscar. The car has had various appearances including The Avengers, The Persuaders, The Professionals, and The Squeeze, I won't go on.......... but one of its previous registration numbers was OPH 2 - I'm sure it wore that plate in something I've seen. Probably seen it in a few things and never knew it was the same car! Doesn't seem to have been in The Sweeney though (and wasn't the same car as used in Down to you Brother I don't think for example).
Site is all about the car! Enjoy

Absolutely great information Gerry. It's a car that I was unaware had been used so many times. Especially in The Professionals and Minder.
Cheers for that.
Gene.

It may also have featured in the Minder episode 'The Bounty Hunter', there's a scene in a Rolls dealership with a car that looks like it could be it.

Thanks DC Burtonshaw, I had a read of the website, very interesting history the has collated on the car. It has certainly 'been around' quite a bit, and seems to have featured in most of 4:3's fave shows.

Amazing story and great to see that the car is owned by someone who appreciates it's heritage.
Remember watching a number of these shows on original transmission and the Rolls Royce due it's status as the most desirable vehicle a key part.
Silver Shadow is an iconic brand - placed in a golden era for TV.
Double Bubble is the phrase that springs to mind.
