Condolences Arthur, not an easy day. I've been a pallbearer twice, once for my own Dad and once for my Uncle. There is certainly a lot of pressure as you don't want anything to wrong in the final stages, I'm glad you were able to get through it OK and was able to get a moment of levity courtesy of Keith.

Hey Arthur, my thoughts and condolences at this difficult time.
Glad you were able to find a moment of lightness though when you spotted Keith Harris's grave!
Best wishes.

My condolences Arthur. Very sorry to hear about your father's passing. I've not been a pallbearer. I have respect for those who do choose to and of course it's in the most difficult circumstances.

Thanks a lot lads.
My dad had been ill for a long time with an unpleasant condition that caused him a lot of pain & discomfort, at least he's relieved of that now.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father Arthur and of his illness, please accept my condolences.
It must have been a tough and emotional role as a pallbearer and not something I've ever been, I'm sure you can feel comfortable knowing that you'd kept your father in safe hands right up until you could do no more.
Sam
