Cheers for that forces t v is brilliant. Space 1999 was one of my favourites when i was growing up , had the transporter ,eagle 1 laser tank a few of the smaller ones The original die cast ones all buried in some garden in time gone by. I got the laser gun off an uncle in Canada . I remember space 1999 Christmases for 3 years in a row i was obsessed . But i never wore the uniform lol

Yes I think wearing uniforms is pushing it a bit unless you’re under 8! Although hang on a minute, a blue suit with bell bottom trousers in a 3 litre Granada is entirely normal.

Not so much these days Davy, get a fair few of these fancy dress 'superheroes' types out on the drink mate. PDC darts is full of them... some people even dress up like Sweeney characters too!

I was watching a series 2 episode on Forces TV recently.
Dear me, it was a hard watch, very 70's in the optics (which is horrible way to describe the look of anything so won't do it again).
Very glaring colours, silly costumes that made no sense given the situation.
Series 1 was somewhat more sensible and a reasonable watch but I'm not surprised it didn't get a full network broadcast initially, if ever.
