I've mentioned in the thread about The Saint, I really liked the Volvo P1800 coupe. I was so pleased to hear that it had been rescued from rotting away and fully restored. F.A.B ! I agree Virgil Tracy though I thought you may have favoured Thunderbird 2 as your favourite tv vehicle. One of my favourite tv cars is the Volvo P1800. It has such a great shape to it and style. Classy. Early Volvos are lovely but then they went a bit square ! It has already been mentioned as a top tv car but I love the Cortina Mk III in 'Life on Mars'. What a beauty ! Of course NHK 295M is the ultimate Sweeney motor.

This is a very hard thing for me to choose, so many fantastic motors on the box over the years. One thing I can tell you is, it isn't a certain Yellow 3 Wheeled van !!!! When watching these shows back in the day as a youngster the cars that i Loved the most were: - 1960's Adam West Batmobile
- Bond's DB5
- General Lee Dodge Charger
- Doyle's RS2000
- Pink Panther's show's Car.
Now though i like - The Sweeney Consul GT NHK 295M
- The Sweeney 3.0 S Silver mk1
- Doyles RS2000
- Arthur Daley's Daimler Double Six
Sorry lads i cant choose one My list is almost identical to Del Boys but I would remove Arthur's Daimler and replace it with the MKII Jag that Morse drove and also include the Audi Quattro from Ashes to Ashes. Shame no one drove a Corrado

Thanks for the compliment..... Or did you mean my motor ? Gene Genie She definitely meant the motor! The Saint Yes she definitely meant the motor. If Gene Hunt drove a Cortina Mk3 in the 70s, an Audi Quattro in the 80s, I wonder what he would have driven in the 90s ? What do you reckon Gene ?

After it was shot to pieces. I replaced the Quattro with a Merc 190E. It lasted a few years but then in the 90s it was a BMW M3.
Gene.
