I used to love watching school programs when i was at home off sick from school. There was nothing else on telly and in the early 80's and I never had a computer until about 1985-86 so until then Schools and Colleges had to do. Once i had the Amstrad pc it was football manager 1 all day long. Watching the Science workshop with those guys now just makes me think of their Sweeney characters. Jellyneck will warn the other presenter of the danger after the spring snaps

Thanks again Arthur, great stuff One thing regarding the action shots, is there someone there on set photographing or are they stills from the film? Looks like the two fight scene images are photos taken by a stills photographer during filming as they've got that posed look to them & they look too sharp to be screenshots. I think there's the odd Sweeney image on rexfeatures that looks like a screenshot from an episode ( you can tell the difference as they look grainy & don't have the clarity of a photograph ) but most are photos that would be taken on set. There are about 10 different ones of Diana Dors all in the same kind of pose. Not sure who would take the photographs. Did they have a stills photographer employed by Euston on set for each episode or did press photographers come on set to take them? Someone in the biz would be able to tell us.

I particularly like the sixth picture with John, Dennis, and DD relaxing on set.

Looking at the stills,I can't help looking at Pete Brayham and thinking "......bloody hell.He looks a handful".He had the look of a right hardcase.
