I think quite a few people would have liked to believe that advert. Baldness was then a sign of terminal ageing.

Decent Regan episode,Lady Luck.I particularly like the bit where he has a proper go at George in the squad car,he's under a bit of pressure there,Jack.Yeah,good episode.I don't really tire of watching this one.

And this one has brought me to the end of Series 3, which I watched last night. I enjoyed it, again, filmed in a rainy late 1975, which was atmospheric, and I liked the story about the attempt by Jack to discredit the alibi by timing the run from the house to the bookies and back. He was under a bit of pressure in this one too and wasn't able to make the case.
Nice bike too, a Triumph. Another spot was a rare instance of a car with an A plate, a parked Austin Cambridge, very few licencing authorities issued them for 1963
