Sailor had, to my knowledge, one other hit, Glass of champagne, Girls girls girls was the follow up, both early 76, then they disappeared. I like both, slight preference for Glass of champagne

Hall & Oates - Rich Girl Gerry Rafferty - Get It Right Next Time ELO - Livin Thing Clout - Substitute David Essex - Rock On Christopher Cross - Ride Like The Wind David Dundas - Jeans On Pilot - Magic Dolly Parton - 9-5 Sailor - Girls Girls Girls
Every one a gem
I'll fight anyone who disagrees
I'll let you off of choosing Dolly Parton just for having Hall & Oates, Gerry Rafferty and ELO in the list. Sam.

What a brilliant topic. Nice one Cartman. I came onto the forum tonight (night time in Melbourne) to post about F1 and all I've done is read through loads of entertaining threads. Nevermind, F1 is really boring lately. I've enjoyed reading what people have posted.
I'll add these -
A different 9 to 5 song - Sheena Easton
"My baby takes the morning train. He works from 9 to 5 and then he takes another home again to find me waiting for him..." Sing along, you all know the words.
And Patrick Hernandez - Born to Be Alive

The train is an 0415 class 4-4-2 tank, all of the class had been scrapped by the early 1920s, apart from three which were kept on until the early 60s specifically to operate the Lyme Regis branch (train enthusiast alert, runs and hides!)

And Patrick Hernandez - Born to Be Alive Good one, Batgirl. And Patrick Hernandez, a Spanish guy who sounded Irish, reminds me of another guilty pleasure of mine - Tarzan Boy by Baltimora - an Irish guy who sounded Spanish

Sweet Sensation, Helen Reddy and Tina Charles are borderline for me but I'll let you off for including 10cc, Andy Kim, Andrew Gold and the Climax Blues Band.
I'm also pleased that you quoted the Andrew Gold version and not the Undercover travesty.
Sam.
